Maechee Anantha Nakboon

Born 28 April 1945, she ordained at 19 to study Dhamma, Pali and practice meditation at Bak Nam Temple, Bangkok. Excellent practice earned her the role of Dhamma & meditation teacher there for 30 years.

As a Thai Maechee Institute Foundation committee member, her supervisory duties included care for maechees in Bangkok & Thonburi. Maechee Anatha ventured forth to develop a modern & administratively functional Thai Maechee Institute.
