She started her education in 1983 and earned a B.A. in Philosophy degree in 2004.

After these successes, she decided to further her studies and came to study at Mandalay Buddhist University in 2020, and entered Dhammawardi Kambawza Nunnery under the guidance of Abbess Daw Dhammasari. However, all schools and universities closed due to the Covid epidemic.

So, in 2021, at the invitation of Daw Annesi, she went on a mission to Hor Heng Padumma Nunnery in Lai Khai. She began to teach literature to the young nuns. After staying in Lai Khai for six months, she returned to Mandalay city to teach the young nuns at Dhammawardi Kambawza Nunnery in Mandalay.

In December 2021, she began to participate in online Zoom activities to inspire young Buddhist monastics to read and recite Buddhist blessing prayers and conduct meditation sessions online via Dhammakaya Temple in Bangkok.

Since then, Thilashin Punnesi has been honored, and received the title of Sasanadhasa Dhammasariya to acknowledge her successful spirit, and she continues today to teach the young nuns at Dhammawardi Kambawza Nunnery in Mandalay.
