Nang Phong Kham also known as Nang A Lur was born on December 22, 1966. Her hometown is Muse, Northern Shan State, Myanmar.

Her mother is Daw Nang Kham Sein or Daw Eir Zor and her father is U Sai Aik Phon. She has one sister, Nang Ohm Kham, and two brothers: Sain Win Hling and Sai Kyaw Htun Naing.

Nang Phong Kham studied at State High School #1 in Mandalay from 1972 to 1981. Her contributions to Buddhism including her inspiring and joining with her family members to make merits by supporting the building of monasteries, pagodas, a Dhamma Foundation, and a meditation center. With her mind focused on the future of Buddhism in Myanmar she has supported Monastic Education. She has supported monastics to study in Myanmar, India, Sri Lanka and China too.

In 1991, Nang Phong Kham married U Sai Sai and gave birth to two sons: Sai Kaung Nying and Sai Kaung Kham. Now, her family lives in Mandalay, Myanmar.
