Maechee Anothai was born in 1962. At the age of 42, she ordained as a Maechee on 16 June 2004 in Samut Prakan Province at Asokharam Temple, and she lives at the same temple nowadays.

She taught as a trainer-to-trainers about how to do public speaking at the Thai Maechee Institute. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Pali and Sanskrit from Mahamakut Buddhist University. She earned her Master's Degree in Buddhism at Mahamakut Buddhist University, as well. She is currently making further studies in Buddhism with aspirations of a higher degree.

Most amazing is the graciousness with which see politely found a spiritual family beyond her married family, and gave her loving-kindness onwards to society each day as a nun. Forgiving, healing, laughing, sharing, smiling, giving, warmth, and hospitality are all qualities that are manifest in Venerable Maechee Anothai for years as a nun.

She believes so deeply in Buddhism and the Buddhist way of life that her "being" exemplifies the fruit of the path. She teaches children Dhamma at schools, organizes community activities, guides and watches over baby nuns, and maintains her practice at Asokharam Temple.

Maechee Anothai healed her own heart, and heals the hearts of others each day. Her depth of practice is radiant.
