Most Venerable Bhiksuni Shik Chi Huan is the Abbess of Fa Lin Xue Yuan Johor Bahru and the Abbess of Nan Fang Jing Yuan Muar Temples. She has been ordained for 44 years.
The Most Venerable is frequently invited to serve at various programs, including: Buddhist youth training camps, Dharma friends' life camps, motivational courses, children's camps, Buddhist women's seminars, and is often invited to plan and help organize Dharma propagation activities by Buddhist groups and temples throughout Malaysia. She has empowered Buddhist writers and leaders and encouraged the creation of more Buddhist publications and online content, and promoted leadership roles for women in Buddhist communities.
A prominent leader in the Malaysian Buddhist community, she has held various posts in the Malaysian Buddhist Association, and is the Religious Advisor of the Young Buddhist Association of Malayasia. She served as the first Chairperson of the Pumen Poor Children's Charity Fund and is a permanent member of the Malaysian Life Line Association.
For her decades of service to the Malaysian Buddhist community, she was awarded the "Sumangalo Award" in 2001 by YBAM, the "Best Buddhist Service Spirit Award" in 2018 by MBA, and the "Outstanding Women in Buddhism Award" in 2025.
